Reinstall instead of buying new
Vehicle change, new license plate, or the first installation went wrong. The mounting plate itself survives all that. The adhesive pad doesn’t. An adhesive pad is a consumable; it is destroyed when removed and cannot be reused.
The REFRESH KIT contains exactly the pads you need for a complete vehicle. Four mounting plates, two license plates, front and back. No counting, no reordering because one is missing.
Original 3M adhesive tape
The same high-performance adhesive tape found in every new KLIK AIR set. Developed for low-energy surfaces—exactly the paints and plastics where normal adhesive tapes give up.

Metal or 3D
Metal license plates: The back is flat. You only need the 0.5 mm pad.
3D license plates: There are plastic rivets on the back. To ensure the mounting plate still sits flush, the thicker 1.5 mm pad is also used. Both versions are included in the kit for 3D license plates.
Clean application is key
The most common reason for an adhesive pad not sticking is a surface that hasn’t been degreased. That’s why two alcohol swabs are included. Wipe the license plate and mounting plate with them, let them air dry briefly, then stick. You can find the full instructions in our installation guide.

Adhesive pads for the KLIK and KLIK AIR mounting pins are not part of this kit and are available separately.
