Do I need a certificate or an ABE?
No. License plate holders do not require approval. The FZV is decisive: a license plate must only be removable with increased mechanical effort or tools. This is exactly what the integrated lock provides.
Does it fit my car?
KLIK AIR fits any license plate, KLIK fits tested license plate formats. For honeycomb grills, struts, or sloped fronts, an adapter ensures a clean fit. The product advisor shows you the right combination in four questions.
Will it hold at high speed?
Yes. The lock does not open by pulling, but only by a sliding movement that headwind does not generate. The gap behind the license plate is ventilated, balancing the pressure. Tested up to 325 km/h.
Does it protect against plate theft?
No holder on the market does that. The KLIK lock can only be released via a targeted movement; if you don’t know it, you won’t figure it out. This deters casual thieves. No one can seriously promise you more.
