The KLIK holder consists of two pins that are attached to the vehicle and two holding arms that are attached to the license plate. The license plate clicks into place on the pins via a click connection – without any visible frames or screws.

Yes. The KLIK license plate holder meets the legal requirements in accordance with §12 FZV as well as the technical specifications from the associated official gazette on license plate attachment. It is expressly regulated there that a license plate may only be removable with mechanically increased effort or using tools.
This condition is met by the non-positive locking in the KLIK system – the license plate can only be pushed out of the holder with a targeted, intentional application of force. This means that use in public road traffic is fully permitted.
Yes, the KLIK holder is universally applicable. It fits almost any vehicle with sufficient space in the area of the license plate (at least 15 mm above or below). It is mounted directly on the bumper or on the carrier.
Absolutely. The KLIK holder was designed so that the license plate can be removed and reinserted at any time – ideal also for interchangeable license plates or vehicle care.
Thanks to the precise click mechanism and the non-positive connection, your license plate sits firmly and without vibrations. In our tests up to 305km/h, it remained permanently and reliably locked.

Yes, the KLIK holder is fully compatible with both classic metal license plates and modern 3D plastic license plates. You don’t need a separate set, special adhesives, or elaborate preparations.
Both versions can be easily clicked into the retaining arms and then sit absolutely securely and firmly.
It’s very simple: You slide the license plate out of the pins in the opposite direction to assembly – i.e. up or down, depending on whether you have mounted the retaining arms conventionally or upside down. No tools are required for this.
No problem – you can also mount the retaining arms “upside down”. In this case, the system clicks into place from bottom to top. The function remains fully intact.
We recommend mounting the pins directly to the body with the screws provided. This ensures maximum stability and a secure hold. Alternatively, the supplied 3M adhesive pads can be used. However, these only work reliably on absolutely flat surfaces. As the adhesive surface is very compact, the adhesive must lie flat over the entire surface. Adhesion cannot be permanently guaranteed on curved or uneven areas.
